Please read these terms carefully. They explain what Bookr does, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Bookr, including the website at bookr.page, the Bookr dashboard, and the booking pages Bookr hosts for businesses (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by LoadHunter Inc. (“Bookr”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account, publishing a booking page, or sending a request through a booking page, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Bookr on behalf of a business, you agree to these Terms for that business and confirm you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Bookr does
Bookr lets mobile detailing businesses (“Businesses”) publish a booking page, receive requests from their customers (“Customers”), and manage those requests in one place.
- A request is not a confirmed appointment. A Customer’s request shares the services they want and a preferred date and time. The Business decides whether and when to provide the service and contacts the Customer to confirm.
- Bookr is not a party to the job. Any agreement for detailing services is between the Business and the Customer. Bookr does not perform detailing services, set Businesses’ prices, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any service.
- Bookr does not hold payments for jobs. A Business can let Customers pay its invoices by card into its own Stripe or Square account (see Card payments). Any other payment is arranged directly between the Business and the Customer.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Each account manages one business.
Keep your password secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@bookr.page if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
4. Free trial, subscription, and billing
Free trial
New accounts include a 7-day free trial. No payment card is required to start. When the trial ends, a paid subscription is required to accept new requests and save changes. Requests you already received remain available to you.
Plans and payment
Bookr Plus costs $20.00 per month or $191.64 per year, in US dollars, unless we show you a different price when you subscribe. Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for each billing period and any applicable taxes.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused time, except where required by law.
Price changes
We may change our prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price change applies to your subscription. The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice period. If you do not agree, cancel before it takes effect.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may limit your account to the same access as an expired trial until payment succeeds.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add to Bookr, such as your business name, logo, services, prices, descriptions, photos, and reviews (“Your Content”). You grant Bookr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including showing it on your public booking page.
You are responsible for Your Content. You confirm that:
- you own it or have permission to use it, including any photos of vehicles, people, or property;
- your services, prices, and business details are accurate and not misleading;
- reviews you publish are genuine, come from real customers, and are not edited in a way that changes their meaning; and
- it does not break any law or anyone else’s rights.
We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaks these Terms.
6. Customer information
When Customers send requests, Bookr stores their details and makes them available to you. For this information, Bookr processes data on your behalf and according to your use of the Service. As a Business, you agree to:
- use Customer information only to respond to requests and provide the services they ask for;
- not send marketing messages to Customers unless they have given you any consent the law requires;
- comply with privacy, consumer protection, and communications laws that apply to you, including laws on calls and text messages; and
- handle Customers’ requests about their information, such as requests to access or delete it. Contact us at support@bookr.page if you need our help.
7. If you send a request
If you send a request through a booking page, you are asking that Business for a quote or a visit. Your request goes to the Business, which will contact you. Sending a request does not confirm an appointment or a price, and does not create an agreement with Bookr.
Give accurate contact, vehicle, and address details, and only submit requests you intend to follow through on. Questions about a service, price, or visit should go to the Business. Its own terms and policies may also apply.
8. Card payments
A Business can let Customers pay its invoices by card. Stripe or Square processes each payment for the Business, and the money goes to the Business’s own Stripe or Square account. Bookr never holds the money and adds no fee.
If you take card payments
- You set up your account on Stripe’s or Square’s own pages and accept their terms. Their fees are charged to your account.
- You are the seller for each payment and are responsible for the amounts you invoice, refunds, chargebacks, and taxes.
- You make refunds and answer disputes in your Stripe or Square account. Bookr shows them on the invoice.
- You can pause card payments at any time in Payments in your dashboard. We may turn them off for an account that breaks these Terms.
If you pay an invoice
You pay the Business, not Bookr. You enter your card details on a Stripe or Square payment page, and Bookr does not receive them. Questions about a charge, refund, or dispute should go to the Business.
9. Text messages
Businesses can choose to receive text message alerts about new requests. To turn them on, you must agree in your dashboard and verify your phone number with a one-time code.
Customers can choose to receive texts about a request they sent, such as the Business’s quote or invoice or a reminder of their visit, sent by Bookr for the Business. To turn them on, the Customer ticks the box on the request form. It is never required to send a request or to buy anything.
- Message frequency varies with the number of requests and quotes.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or turn text alerts off in your dashboard. For help, contact support@bookr.page.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Alerts are a convenience; check your dashboard for the full list of requests.
Bookr does not send marketing text messages to Businesses or to Customers.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break any law or encourage anyone else to;
- post false, misleading, or deceptive information, including fake reviews or prices you do not intend to honor;
- impersonate a person or business;
- send spam, submit fake or automated requests, or harass anyone;
- collect other people’s information from the Service without permission, including by scraping;
- upload malware or try to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- get around usage limits, access controls, or billing requirements; or
- copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it.
11. Bookr’s property and feedback
Bookr and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, and the Bookr name and logo. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while you follow them. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
12. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers, such as Stripe for subscriptions, Stripe and Square for card payments, and Mapbox for address suggestions. Your use of those features may also be subject to the provider’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
13. Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using Bookr at any time. You can delete your account from Account in the dashboard or in the Bookr app. This deletes your business, its booking page, requests, quotes, invoices, and photos, and cannot be undone. Any subscription ends at once, and the unused part of the billing period is not refunded (see Refunds above). We keep billing records as tax and accounting laws require, and records of card payments you took through Stripe or Square stay in your Stripe or Square account.
We may suspend or close your account, or unpublish your booking page, if you break these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for Bookr or others, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. We may also discontinue the Service; if we do, we will give you reasonable notice and refund any prepaid fees for the period after it ends.
Sections that by their nature should survive — including those on content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and disputes — survive the end of these Terms.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, BOOKR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT EVERY REQUEST OR ALERT WILL BE DELIVERED, OR THAT ANY BUSINESS OR CUSTOMER WILL ACT AS EXPECTED.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, BOOKR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.
BOOKR’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID BOOKR IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR US $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.
16. Indemnification
If you use Bookr as a Business, you will defend and indemnify Bookr against third-party claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, the services you provide to Customers, your use of Customer information, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@bookr.page so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that is not resolved will be heard exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you and Bookr consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will tell account holders by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when these Terms last changed. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
